Accessibility Mobility Scooters, E-Scooters, and Bicycles
At Salterns Marina, we want everyone to enjoy safe and easy access to the pontoons. Because space is limited and pontoons can move, we have a few important safety rules to keep everyone safe:
- No bicycles, e-scooters, or Class 3 mobility scooters are allowed on the pontoons. These are too large and heavy to turn safely.
- Class 2 mobility scooters and wheelchairs can be used only if it is safe to do so. Please take extra care when moving along the pontoons.
- Do not wear seatbelts or restraints when using a mobility scooter or wheelchair on the pontoons. This ensures you can exit safely if an accident occurs.
- If you need help accessing your boat, our marina team is happy to assist.
These measures are in place to protect all berth holders, visitors, and staff. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation
