Supporting Oceans to Earth charity
Over the years we have helped local charity, Oceans to Earth, with their epic beach cleans around Poole Harbour. We’ve supported by lending an electric Torqeedo outboard that enables their boats to reach remote areas where litter builds up and are inaccessible from the land. Oceans to Earth are passionate about people finding ways to protect our planet at a local level and ‘do our part’. The main aim is to help make the world become a better and cleaner place and is committed to building relations with people, schools and business such as ourselves to find solutions to the ever increasing environmental challenges we all face.
We’re now delighted to become a collection point for this great charity so that our customers and berth holders can make cash or online donations. You can find donation points at the following places across the Salterns group of companies:

We’re also very much looking forward to organising a joint beach clean where members of the team across the whole company will get involved. Our Sealegs amphibious boats will certainly come in handy with accessing those hard to reach remote beaches!
