Multi-award winning Salterns Marina has once again been re-accredited with the ‘5 Gold Anchor’ award for quality assured berthing after a recent assessment by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA). The Gold Anchor award scheme is one of the highest accolades any marina can achieve in recognising facilities, safety and quality of service. Only a small number of marinas ever achieve this prestigious international award, which is globally recognised.
Nick Smith, Managing Director of Salterns Marina Ltd said “After a meticulous review process we are delighted that Salterns Marina has been awarded once again the 5 Gold Anchor status, which is arguably the hardest award any marina can achieve. I am immensely proud of my team and it goes to show that customer focus and attention to detail pays off. I would like to congratulate them for the excellent effort and commitment they have made in helping to retain this award.”
The Gold Anchor award scheme has been auditing marinas throughout the world for over 25 years and is well known as a credible measure of the marina quality. The process involves a comprehensive set of criteria which is checked and surveyed by an independant marina expert. In addition, a series of mystery shops and berth holders’ questionnaires are conducted. The marina must achieve a minimum overall score of 85% to gain the 5 Gold Anchor status.
Salterns Marina will once again be exhibiting at the Southampton Boat Show from 11th to 20th September, stand number E037 , overlooking the marina. For more information please visit our stand, or contact Salterns Marina on 01202 709971, reception@salterns.co.uk
