Maple Glass at Salterns Chandlery

Maple Glass, the beautiful creations of local artist Briony, is now being showcased at Salterns Chandlery.

Maple Glass is the glass adventure and creations of Briony, a Dorset based glass artist inspired by the beautiful landscapes and material the county has to offer. Her work is full of fluidity and texture to capture and exploit the fluid and illuminating nature of glass.
Briony works from her home studio and enjoys experimenting with glass and creating commissions which often inspire new ranges of work for her. She found her love for glass while studying Contemporary Crafts at Falmouth University where she specialised in glass casting. She now works with a range of techniques, mainly using fusing and slumping to create her current products, which can be found online, at local arts and crafts fairs, and now at Salterns Chandlery!
