We’re delighted to invite Salterns berth, mooring and versa-dock holders to collect your berthing pack and enjoy complimentary bacon rolls and pastries with fresh coffee and bucks fizz in Salterns Chandlery.
Saturday 28th March 2020 at 0930 – 1200hrs
Bring your lifejackets along as RNLI volunteers will be on site to provide free life jacket checks and safety advice so you’re ready for the season.
Your lifejacket may save your life one day, but only if you maintain it properly. If your lifejacket is faulty, all you’re wearing is a dead weight.
Specially trained RNLI volunteers will show you how to maintain your lifejacket to keep it fully functioning. They’ll show you how to check it for wear and tear and do simple maintenance tasks like replacing gas bottles and firing heads. At a recent clinic, the RNLI found 80% of lifejackets had faults, and many had serious defects.
Don’t wait until you’re in trouble to find out your lifejacket is not working properly. Bring yours to Salterns Marina on Saturday 28th 0930-1200 hrs and also enjoy some complimentary breakfast snacks, coffee and bucks fizz.
Open to berth / mooring / versa-dock holders.
